Shipping Policy

How we package live fish

Every order is pressure-packed into sealed bags with pure oxygen, cushioned, and placed inside an insulated foam-lined box. Depending on the season and your destination, we include a heat pack or a cold pack to keep temperatures in a safe range during transit.

Larger orders (500 and 1,000 packs) are split across multiple oxygen-packed bags within a single insulated crate to keep stocking density safe.

Shipping method & transit time

We ship via priority overnight courier so your fish spend as little time in transit as possible. Most orders are delivered the morning after they leave our hatchery.

Shipping schedule

To avoid fish sitting in a facility over the weekend, we ship Monday through Wednesday only. Orders placed after the weekly cutoff (Wednesday) ship on the next available Monday.

You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your box is on its way. Please make arrangements to receive your shipment promptly on the delivery date.

Shipping rates

• Free overnight shipping on all orders over $99.
• Orders under $99 are charged a flat live-shipping rate shown at checkout.
• Wholesale and 1,000-count crate orders may ship via freight; rates are quoted per order.

Where we ship

We currently ship to the contiguous United States only. A small number of states restrict shipments of live aquatic animals; if your destination is affected, we will contact you before processing your order. We do not ship internationally or to PO boxes at this time.

Weather holds

During extreme heat or cold, we may briefly hold your order to protect the fish, even with heat or cold packs included. If a weather hold affects your delivery date, we will notify you. Holding for safe weather does not affect your live arrival guarantee.
